Mastiffs that have been adopted (continued)
Smokey
Here is an update on Smokey. We got him in early April, and he acts like he owns the house, already! He got along with both our other dogs (chows) very early on. When Sunny, our male who was ill, had to be put to sleep earlier this month, Smokey seemed to grieve almost as much as Sushie did over his absence. He has brought some comfort to us in our time of loss with his sunny, and silly, disposition; he talks and sings to us, and when he decides he wants attention-he wants it now~!!!
He loves going for walks, and goes nuts when we bring the leashes out; he is somewhat incorrigible when we encounter smaller (esp. black) dogs, but we're working on that! He's completely housebroken, and would live on the couch and beds, if we let him, so he only can look longingly at them. We have also discovered his love for carrots, grapes, apples, and anything else WE eat. He is a big lug, drools gallons, and is shedding like crazy..........but we love him, and are really glad he is part of our family. Keep up the good work!!

Moose

"Moose" came into our lives just a little over two weeks ago, and let me tell you, things will never be the same again!!!!! (I do mean that in a good way!). My husband Terry and I have always wanted to be mastiff parents, and were fortunate enough to have discovered MCOA rescue. "Moose" is a 2 year old apricot male, approximatley 170 pounds, with hugs and kissed that never stop!!!!.... the closer he can get to you the better! Like other mastiffs, "Moose" would rather sit in your lap than anywhere else! We also have a 13 year old female cat (Yoda) who absolutly adores him. "Moose" is pretty fond of (Yoda) also, as he is always giving her a tongue bath!!!! "Moose" enjoys going for rides, long walks, and sleeping on the couch, with an occasional game of chase with Yoda! His sweetness overflows and we are enjoying wading in it!!!!!! Owning a mastiff just makes you a better, much happier person doesn't it!!! Thank you, MCOA Rescue!!!!
Stormy

Stormy was severely underweight at 103 pounds and needed to gain weight before he could even be neutered. Due to the love and attention of MCOA member Joyce Dickerson, Stormy is on the mend, gaining weight and enjoying life as can be seen in his new picture.
Hudson & Hazel

They were born Jan. 17, 1994 and are both so sweet that we do not want to split them up. They are good with other Mastiffs but will chase horses. Their Sire is Ch. Deer Run Ezra of Lido and the Dam is Glenmountain's Roxanne. They are very well behaved and would like very much to have a home together.
Hudson & Hazel have been adopted by a wonderful couple in Macungie, PA, Cynthia Hunsberger and her fiance Tom Miller. Cynthia has had Mastiffs since 1984 and lost her last girl "Scarlett" to a long and expensive operation. They are so happy to have a pair and Hudson & Hazel are so happy to have a home!!!
