MCOA Wins Canine Health Foundation Poster Contest

 Health Awards Committee Chair, Anna May, attended the Canine Health Foundation (CHF) Health Symposium and prepared and presented two posters in two different poster contests at the Symposium. One of the posters (see below) won 1st Prize - Best In Show - under the category of "Other Special Programs". The poster combines artwork donated by Regine Manicom for the 2001 PRA Walk, with the logo from the Walk, and information about the CERF Clinic at the Specialty. The poster layout was done by Diona Fredo for the MCOA PRA Committee's 2001 National Specialty CERF Clinic.

The prize awards were:

• A special edition AKC Canine Health Foundation logo watch to the poster creator(s)
• A contribution of $200 will be made to AKC/CHF in honor of the representative(s) who submitted the poster
• Complimentary 2-year memberships for all members of the club's health committee
